The Mobile Rocket kiln project was started in the Fall 2023 semester in a Kiln-Building guided study class taught by Henry James Haver Crissman.

Taking inspiration from Lisa Orr’s Rocket Kilns, we set out to design, build, and fire a cone10 wood kiln using a combination of fabricated and found parts.
